J-Type Manual Screen

ArCh Enviro range of “Tray screen” is equipped with a fixed frame embedded in the civil wall and one or more Tray screen (based on requirement).
Its installed mainly in front of raking screen in sewage pumping stations or sewage treatment plants to prevent higher size trash like wooden logs, high size rags, which is beyond the removal capacity of raking screen.

The Tray screen can be removed using a hoist which is fixed on top of the working platform. According to need, an operator lifts the screen periodically and clean the deposited material.

Trash Rack - Design

  • Tray screen is ideally used for deeper channels where manual intervention is dangerous and life risk is suspected due to working in deep channels. Its ideally used at Raw sewage intake from River/Nallah water into the pumping station. 
  • This screen ensures that oversized trash like wooden logs, shall not damage the mechanical rake screen. This trash, if go directly to rake screen can damage the rake of screen and causes the dislodging of the chain.
  • The Tray screen uses stainless steel flats as the screening medium with a perforated tray fixed at the bottom. Bottom tray ensures that waste shall not fall inside the channel, during lifting of the screen. Solid waste higher than bar spacing is screened and the screen can be removed outside the channel, using a hoist.
  • Each unit incorporates a set of equi-spaced bars and fabricated on SS channels and supported with engineered plastics and rollers for low friction up & down movement.
  • Based on the flow and water level this screen can be fixed in number of segment one above other.
